This Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of your information when you use the SaleTop mobile application (“Service”), and tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.
We use your personal data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Interpretation and Definitions
Interpretation
Words with initial capital letters have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning whether they appear in singular or in plural.
Definitions
- Account means a unique account created for you to access our Service.
- Application refers to SaleTop, the software program provided by the Company.
- Company (referred to as “the Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”) refers to SaleTop.
- Country refers to Uzbekistan.
- Device means any device that can access the Service, such as a smartphone or tablet.
- Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual (e.g., phone number).
- Service refers to the Application.
- Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, device identifiers and diagnostic logs).
- You means the individual accessing or using the Service.

Types of Data Collected
Personal Data you provide
While using our Service, we may ask you to provide certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personal Data may include, but is not limited to:
- Phone number (used for registration, login, and verification)
- Name and profile information (if provided)
- Profile photo and images/media you upload
- Suggestions or complaints you submit through the in-app page
Location Data
With your permission, we collect and process your **approximate or precise location** to **show nearby products on the map** and provide other location-based features. You can enable or disable location access at any time in your device settings. Disabling location may limit certain app features, such as viewing nearby products.
Photo Library Access
We request access to your **photo library** to **allow you to upload images for products** you want to sell. You can limit or deny this access, but this will prevent you from uploading photos for your listings.
Usage Data
Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service. Usage Data may include information such as your Device’s IP address, operating system and version, app settings, unique device identifiers, time and date of your use, and other diagnostic data that help us maintain and improve the Service.
How We Use Your Personal Data
The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain the Service, including authentication by phone number, delivering core features, and monitoring usage.
- To manage your Account, including enabling you to update your profile and change your phone number.
- To contact you about important updates, security alerts, and support messages (including optional push notifications).
- To process suggestions and complaints that you submit in the app.
- To improve the Service by analyzing usage trends and troubleshooting issues.
- To enforce our terms and protect the Service, including preventing spam, fraud, or abuse (we may ban or disable accounts that violate our rules).
- For legal compliance and to respond to lawful requests by public authorities.
Sharing Your Personal Data
We may share your information in the following situations:
- Service Providers: We may share data with vendors that help us operate the Service (e.g., hosting, analytics, messaging). They are bound by contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
- Business transfers: In connection with any merger, sale of assets, financing, or acquisition, your data may be transferred, with notice where required by law.
- With your consent: We may share information for any other purpose with your consent.
Retention of Your Personal Data
We retain Personal Data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy, including operating the Service, resolving disputes, enforcing our agreements, and complying with legal obligations. Usage and diagnostic logs are generally kept for a shorter period unless needed for security or improvement of the Service.
Account Deletion (Soft-Delete)
You can request deletion of your Account from within the app (Profile → Feedback and complaints) or by emailing us at saletopuz@gmail.com from your registered email/phone number.
- When you request deletion, your account is soft-deleted: it becomes inactive and hidden from other users, and your profile, listings, messages, uploaded media, and location data tied to your profile are removed from user-facing areas.
- We may retain a minimal set of records (e.g., hashed identifiers, audit/security logs) for a limited period for fraud prevention, abuse detection, or legal compliance.
- We aim to process deletion requests within 30 days. Certain logs may be retained for up to 90 days, or longer if required by law or to resolve an active dispute or investigation.
- Because deletion is soft-delete, if you later sign in with the same phone number before permanent purging, your account may be reactivated.
Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Data from anyone under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Security of Your Personal Data
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect your Personal Data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Transfers
Your information may be processed on servers located outside of your region. We take reasonable steps to ensure that transfers are lawful and that your data remains protected in accordance with this Policy.
Your Rights and Choices
- Access/Update: You can view and update certain profile details in the app (including changing your phone number).
- Delete: You can request account deletion as described above.
- Location settings: You can enable/disable location permissions in your device settings.
- Communications: You may opt out of non-essential communications where applicable.
No Payments Collected
SaleTop does not include in-app payments and does not collect payment card or bank information through the Service.
Links to Other Websites
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services not operated by us. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those third parties. We recommend you review the privacy policies of every site you visit.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new Privacy Policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
